Hey there, did I mention that I get anxiety and right now I am a bundle of nerves? Will I finish? Will I even begin? 

Walking is a great way to alleviate anxiety. Clear the head, step away from it all and breath in some fresh air. Smile, wave and chat. 

 I also wanted to clarify my intention. I understand I can walk into September, so that's what I will do. Step into better health!

My aim is for 7000 steps a walk. It might be more, it might be less, I am improving my fitness, it will all help.

I'll be using an app on my phone to count my steps. 

I'll be also checking a couple of other health things & share them with you as I go.


Walking my way through winter

it was a cold rainy Saturday, 2nd August,  I was feeling cooped up inside, yearning for fresh air and sunshine. That's when I joined up for this challenge.

I was always aware of some of the health benefits from walking. I enjoy walking. However I found myself in a very sedentary lifestyle. I had my excuses. Fear, health, weather, time, I was really just not interested and unmotivated. Until now.

I want to make a difference with this. For others as well as myself.
